I am based out of beautiful Redding, California. It’s a beautiful area with rivers and lakes, with mountains and the ocean not too far away! While I love seeing people in person, I’ll gladly provide most types of services via Telehealth to California residents as well.

I use a HIPAA-compliant platform where we can have secure Telehealth sessions. We’ll first determine if Telehealth is right for you, as it’s not always a great fit for certain conditions and situations. If it is a good fit, we’ll make sure ahead of time that the technology is all squared away. Luckily it’s very simple through my system, and doesn’t require extra downloads and numerous complicated steps. We’ll figure it out together.

Presently I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t directly bill your insurance provider or accept Medi-Cal, Partnership, or Medi-Care. This would mean that payment for services would be considered “out of pocket”, although I am able to provide a superbill (receipt for services) that you can submit to your insurance to try and get reimbursed.
This might change at some point in the future, so if this is a deal breaker for you, feel free to shoot me an email so I can notify you if I do begin accepting insurance, or keep checking back here for updates!

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
