Explore more than just conventional talk therapy.
HEALING TRAUMA & ATTACHMENT WOUNDS.
Using multiple modalities to heal the WHOLE of you.
Your trauma may be singular, or highly complex…
Whether your trauma is more singular, or chronic, complex, and severe, treatment may be able to help:
emotional dysregulation
PTSD symptoms including flashbacks, hypervigilance, physiological distress, sleep difficulties, major mood shifts related to triggers, etc.
understanding of your identity and self in relation to past trauma
feeling safe in the world around you
trust and interpersonal security
confidence with managing symptoms
release of shame and guilt
resolution regarding the perpetrators of the abuse
I’ll integrate various techniques to make the process feel supportive for your BRAIN, BODY, and HEART.
somatic-focused interventions to train the body to relax (i.e. guided touch-free relaxation techniques)
Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) interventions to train the brain and body to regulate
engaging the support from suitable family members and friends
exploring connections to support and therapy groups and social networks; outside activities (sports, exercise, nutrition, hobbies), and spiritual resources
A CURATED selection of interventions tailored to YOU
I’ll likely recommend techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, etc.
Most importantly, we will take things at your pace, never forcing trauma “treatment” or pushing you outside of your comfort zone.

COMMON QUESTIONS

While Brainspotting is a relatively “new” treatment method (approx. 20 years in use), research is showing it to be one of the most effective treatments to trauma in the short and long term. It’s a wildly simple interventions that requires very little verbal processing, involves no touching, and basically is about the client looking at a spot while paying attention to their body. I can explain more in a consult call if you like.
-
Absolutely! While my website is geared toward couples and families, I greatly enjoy working with individuals and welcome prospective clients who are wanting treatment just for themselves.
Trauma and attachment treatment for adults is generally done best through individual therapy as well.
